Located along Alki Beach in West Seattle, Harry’s Beach House is the cousin of Harry’s Fine Foods located on Capitol Hill and reflects the same spirit of welcome and home. The Beach House imagines a kind of surf and turf chic that is both nostalgic and fresh. Banquettes flanked by kerosene lamps invite guests to take off their shoes and pull their feet up while they appreciate food and drinks that are at once familiar and elevated. Chef/owner Julian Hagood extends a culinary welcome that makes everyone feel at home. A collection of sea-themed oil paintings set the tone for the marine environment on the entry wall. Vintage furnishings and coolers invite memories of both corner store and grandma’s house. Hagood’s mother’s signature map wallpaper adorns both bathrooms. And a collection of basket lights clusters to create a warm center of the long community table at the heart of the restaurant.
