Humphries Poli Architects was commissioned to envision more than 80,000 sq. ft. of Class A commercial office space along Harmony Road in the heart of Fort Collins’ developing technology district. This project is the first of several mixed-use buildings anticipated on a 100-acre site. Working with the master site developer, MAV Development, the first building is being design to set the standard for future projects within this high quality, integrated business park.
The owner has placed a premium on timeless, environmentally friendly, contemporary design in a language that fits with the land and surrounding community. Promoting an urban environment that is built to human scale will encourage active street fronts, site pedestrian connectivity while also accommodating vehicular movement.
Harmony Technology Park Building One incorporates numerous sustainable design features including extensive use of solar panels, low maintenance, locally produced building materials and daylighting strategies. The projects goal was to attempt to achieve a LEED Platinum Certification.
