Harbor Beach House
The Harbor Beach House is located in Harbor Beach, Fl and was built for a Silicon Valley entrepreneur as a seasonal retreat. The program requirements for the 2 story 8,300 s.f. waterfront home included private and public areas suitable for casual elegant entertaining. The waterfront residence was designed to create visual connectivity to downtown Fort Lauderdale and Port Everglades extending the experience beyond the home’s physical boundaries. The owners explicit extremely low maintenance requirements for the modern design included no paint and sustainable features. The exterior walls are clad in natural stone Travertine and recycled fiber cement walls adorn the interior spaces. Construction administration for the project was an integral part of the work requiring skilled craftsman to execute the finished product. The site was designed to accommodate the owner’s yacht with a deep water dock. Outdoor amenities include swimming pool, outdoor shower, patios, terraces, lush landscaping and a bocci court.
