The clean and graceful design of the Happy Valley Shopping Center is emblematic of nearby Pearl River and surrounding Zhujian New Town. It includes a diverse selection of retail, dining and entertainment options chosen specifically to respond to market demands, enliven the site, and integrate development with the city. The building and corresponding landscape consists of a series of complex curves that encourages free and unhurried movement throughout the shopping experience, while the reflective surfaces of the building change with every step, shifting with the daylight and the motion of the clouds.
