The project is built on an area of 80m2 located in the typical lane with high population density in Hanoi.
In the process of development, with a lot of high-rise office buildings being built in the area, the demand for finding a place to live and work in the center of the city is increasing. Based on that context, the project was built to provide office space for rent on the ground floor, 4 studio apartments for rent on the upper floors and the top 2 floors are the living space of the owner's family.
The project aimed for efficiency and functional design .The plan is divided by 3 lengthwise, 1/3 of which is designed for importants functions inlcluding traffic, lobby, stairs, elevator, toilet and kitchen. The remaining 2/3 of the area is a large, connected space, with natural ventilation and maximum front light filtered through a green buffer space. Users can arrange the space flexibly according to their needs.
The balcony on the floors, with a front part designed in steel, performs as a kind of vertical garden, which covers the living space inside and at the same time acts as the highlight of the whole house. The entire façade lights up when hitted by the sun, bringing exciting color to the lane.
