Imagination, discovery and the arts play a central role in the Center’s curriculum and became an inspiration for the architectural forms of this remodel. Colorful panels recall the artwork posted in the classrooms. Durable, metallic wall panels were added to the front elevation to “clean up” a deteriorating facade. The panels’ unique appearance gives the Center a long missing street presence. Interior improvements included adding accessible restrooms and relocating the Director’s office to provide more direct supervision of the Center’s entrance.
