Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corporation's "Hankyu Hanshin Brokerage Honmachi office" was established as the company's first outside-line station for brokerage services, serving the Honmachi area. It is a flagship store designed not only as a traditional real estate brokerage but also as a new platform for value creation beyond conventional real estate services.
Honmachi is a vibrant area where offices and residences coexist, attracting a diverse range of people. Unlike typical real estate agencies, this location features a larger storefront, which posed the challenge of creating a brand experience suitable for this new space. In response, we proposed a new real estate brokerage store that leverages the tenant's characteristics by incorporating a gallery function.
The spatial layout places the gallery section on the street-facing side, surrounded by office functions. The gallery, utilizing a glass façade to its fullest extent, functions as a "show window" that changes according to seasons and themes, creating a space where visitors can encounter new discoveries and experiences each time they visit.
The background wall is made of Japanese paper (washi), combined with lighting to create a dynamic "light wall" that can change its expression depending on the time of day and the exhibited content. This light wall symbolizes Hankyu Hanshin Properties Corp.'s sincere commitment of "Everything we do is for the customer," serving as a versatile and quiet communication device.
Moving forward, the store will continue to combine brokerage and gallery functions while hosting exhibitions and events themed around various aspects of daily life, such as furniture, home appliances, art, plants, travel, and wellness.
Aiming to be a place that residents and workers in Honmachi want to visit, the store will continuously deliver experiences related not only to "housing" but also to "lifestyle" through collaborations with diverse partners both within and outside the Hankyu Hanshin Group.
