On November 21, 2025, gad won the bid for the Hangzhou Information Port Industrial Park project which aims to create a cutting-edge high-tech industrial incubation space through comprehensive coordination in industrial planning, functional matching, and spatial operations.
Located in the Shibei Unit of Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, the project covers two adjacent plots of similar size and regular shape, with a total construction area of approximately 133,000 square meters. The space is designed to meet the needs of communication and electronic R&D manufacturing, resource aggregation, and talent incubation.
Given the separation of the plots and the need for project integrity, the architecture adopts a unified design featuring twin towers and a multi-story building complex. The main tower is 150 meters high, shaping the Shibei skyline alongside adjacent skyscrapers while at the same time providing premium views for industrial R&D spaces.
The multi-story building complex forms an "upstream-downstream" industrial linkage with the skyscraper towers and integrates into the city with a more approachable, human-scale presence. Through multi-level spatial planning and a three-dimensional garden system comprising rooftop gardens, terraces, and public courtyards, it not only contributes to the city's gateway image but also deeply engages in urban public life and natural environment creation, realizing a truly "people-oriented" sustainable green park.
The architectural form fully showcases the high-tech aesthetics of industrial buildings. By integrating the structural design into the form and using technologically inspired glass curtain walls, gad creates a futuristic urban visual image with a strong sense of technology.
