An eight story multi-family residential building at Uttara-13, Dhaka. South facing site.
Main idea is to produce maximum green spaces for each unit and to ensure natural light and cross ventilation.
There was a requirement using security grill in verandah. We took it as a challenge and tried to produce a design where security grills blend with total product.
Parking and service are on ground floor and other floors for apartments. Each floor contains 3 bed rooms , living room, dining space and a family space including a green balcony. Top two floors are designed as duplex. Green spaces are attached with two bedrooms and living room in each unit. Splitting verandahs in each floor gives an opportunity to provide green within same space.
