A three-story wooden complex consisting of rental apartments, a nursery school, and a telework center located on a slope in a 1-minute walk from Hakuraku Station, a residential area in Yokohama.
The "living, nurturing, and working" functions that form the basis of daily life are arranged with the patio between the two buildings in consideration of their privacy, and the two buildings are connected by a bridge on the third floor to secure the maximum area. We created a small town in the town and designed a patio-shaped alley with migratory properties.
The exterior is as simple as possible, and the patio placed in the middle reduces the volume of the building while giving the site a sense of depth and the entire exterior that is barrier-free, giving it mobility and openness. A folding desk space for telework is placed inside the house.
