The HAIRDESIGN salon is located on a busy street on the ground floor and mezzanine of a 1980s building. The mezzanine space was decided to be used only as a storage space from an early stage. It had to be separated from the rest of the space in order to be utilised for secondary purposes but also reduce the amount of energy needed for air conditioning. The ground floor is a fairly narrow space which had to be utilised to its fullest in order to meet the brief's requirements.
It houses four workstations, two washbasins, a suspended bench which serves as the waiting area, a small reception, a display unit for selling products, storage space for everyday usage and a wc.
