Concept
The main design concept consists of mixing geometric triangles and industrial, urban feel as the main guideline for the exterior and the interior. The aim is to represent the current local culture and the cosmopolitan social mix that Dubai is all about.
Triangles dominate the exterior elevation; climbing upward and wrapping around the building envelope like an organic living skin; providing different axis points and reflecting different parts of the building’s surroundings.
Triangles represent aspiration, rising force, endurance, steadiness, and stability.The orientation of a triangle is important to its meaning. The upward moving triangle is a symbol of aspiration or rising up, male force, and fire. The downward pointing triangle is the symbol of water (as it flows downward), the grace of heaven.
The triangles on the exterior create and influence interior space distribution; having triangles of different sizes, shapes and directions influences the flow of interior spaces and direction of light and views to each room.
The interior spaces are fluid, spacious and stylish, echoing the exterior design concept and flowing inwards, where all the design elements come together to create one continuous living unit.
