The project takes "white waves and smooth sand" as the design concept, which symbolizes the efficient and smooth traffic at the port, reflects the unique coastal regional characteristics, and depicts a scene where waves and white sand reflect each other. The first floor is intended to intercept the arcade in Haikou's old street, which has a strong sense of order and changes in light and shadow. Busy and orderly is the bottom logic of the port; Membrane structure figure on The second floor is taken from the beautiful city flower Bougainvillea, which provides shelter from the wind and rain while bringing a touch of white waves to the city. It is fresh and elegant, and subverts the extensive image of freight logistics. The completed inspection site will become the portal image of the free trade port and the all-weather city card in the future.
The project organizes the freight transportation function by "three-dimensional transportation, speed division". After the inspection of the offshore trucks (including postal express) at the centralized inspection site is completed, they will arrive at the port area from the closed auxiliary dedicated channel, enter the offshore waiting area, drive through the main channel to enter and exit the port, and board the ship and leave the island.
