Highland Stadium under Danxia Mountain
The project is located in Haidong City, Qinghai Province, China, by the 15,000-seat stadium, 5,000-seat stadium, swimming pool and outdoor venues, land area of 2,325 hectares, with a total floor area of 63,000 square meters, east of the Vocational and Technical College, Huangshui River Park in the north, looking away from the Danxia Mountain Range. Based on the exploration of the locality of the sports building: stadium and the two museums were diagonal layout, growing in the green slope base, folded roof external such as the Tibetan Plateau of the undulating mountains, like the local national protection of cultural relics inside the Qutang Hall, clear water concrete base tree-shaped upper part of the steel structure of the logic of the concise. The gymnasium and swimming pool are combined, and the simple and plain interior space adopts asymmetrical and natural folds. The combination of sandstone-colored rhombic perforated aluminum roofing and facade, precast concrete bleachers and panels, wooden grilles, and bronze doors and windows are hardy and robust. Architecture and landscape fusion spread, constitute Huangshui River, Danxia Mountain under the earth art, but also the city's landscape and regional expression!
