This project was a joint venture between the University of Colorado & The Flat Irons Habitat For Humanity. A portion of the project was spent building homes with Habitat For Humanity while at the same time developing perspective plans for their next site. The major challenges for this project were studying the topography for the site which was extremely steep and on a water shed. The residences had to be raised while incorporating on-site parking & still complying with ADA code. The individual units had to be as small as possible while still having a feeling of comfort. The final design consisted of 24 three bedroom two-story units. Final models & drawings we’re not submitted for this project due to the fact that it is still an ongoingproject.
