Gymskook, as the name suggests, is an all out fitness café. It’s the ‘go-to’ for all the gym freaks.
The task was to conceptualise an eatery that would inspire and invite people to a healthy lifestyle!
The main idea was to create a space using elements that would illustrate the concept behind it; Fitness. Hence the entire set-up comes across being highly interactive, spirited and playful.
Everything from the colour scheme, furniture, wall treatment and installation aims at creating a space infused with high energy, vigour and vibrancy.
The exposed ceiling of the cafe has been intended with a fluorescent green-yellow bicycle installation surrounded with pulsating neon green PVC pipes, running throughout, on a backdrop a dramatic yet solid charcoal grey.
Concrete-textured raw walls, robust and sturdy aluminium mesh wall treatment and metal chains and Tolix chairs, together give the space a strong-featured appearance.
In order to balance out the tough and hardy mood of the café, the walls are painted with inspirational quotes and dynamic graffiti. Hence, exuding a sense of dynamism and enthusiasm.
Providing an activity area that include a bench press and a pull up bar to connect with the crowd.
Another eye-catching feature that elates the café is the use of Cantilevered tables that exhibits the concept of working "against the gravity".
