The multi-purpose hall of the Arabská High School consists of a simple mass with a short neck that interconnects the proposed extension, the foyer of the existing building and the newly designed terrace adjacent to the existing arcade. The elementary mass is complemented by a simple skylight that provides lighting to the interior of the rehearsal room. The material concept is based on a combination of a narrow range of materials chosen in natural colours. Concrete support structures are used visually in the interior, with polished concrete on the floors. In the interior of the hall, the concrete is complemented by wooden oak panelling. In the interior of the rehearsal room, the walls are lined with boards made from recycled pet bottles to ensure suitable acoustics. The hall is designed with a wooden oak floor.
The exterior uses larch slat timber cladding, which is complemented by anthracite coloured sheet metal within the skylight cladding and anthracite coloured stair edges and glazing frames. These materials are complemented by elements of vegetation in the form of an intensive green roof and plants planted along the north-west elevation of the extension facing the classrooms of the existing building.
The exterior space of the multipurpose hall transitions into a large terrace, which is connected to the residence stairs, the terrace in the offset and the existing arcade. These newly designed exterior elements are designed to be constructed of larch wood patio planks. The terrace is then joined by a newly landscaped garden area. The design retains the distinctly natural character of this garden, only inserting small architectural features. The pond is joined by an outdoor classroom gazebo, which is made up of an anthracite-coloured steel structure with an extensive green roof and a wooden slatted ceiling. The terrace and the gazebo are connected by a path made of concrete treads.
