Our interiors department was tasked with creating a tranquil and sophisticated space for this condominium overlooking the beach. This was accomplished through the use of color, materials, and lighting. While the basic arrangement of the condo remained the same, the major components like the kitchen, bathrooms and master bedroom were remodeled for function and aesthetics. One of the biggest changes was made to the ceiling, where new tray ceiling elements were created in both the kitchen and living. Cove lighting was created for both trays which creates, along with the addition of new recessed can lights, completely customizable lighting. The kitchen was expanded to include a new peninsula with bar seating, wine storage, and pendant lighting. New seating was created under the kitchen window with views to the Gulf. The guest bathroom takes advantage of the oversized space for a larger furniture-style vanity, and uses a combination of colors found near the beach to emphasize the waterside theme. The master bedroom uses lap siding as the defining element to anchor the bed. Painted a deep blue, calling back to the ocean and the sky, help create a retreat from the busy day.
