A brand new concept on the western edge of Primrose Hill, Camden.

Sprunt has been appointed by The Guinness Partnership as concept designers to develop a high quality residential scheme for their “star” site in the Borough.

This tenure-blind development includes private and affordable housing.

Despite difficult access and limited public transport which would suggest a density of 30 to 50 units per hectare (planning guideline), Sprunt’s proposal for 165 units per hectare was considered acceptable because of its design quality.  This “tour de force” was made possible thanks to a fine mixture of modernist and traditional architecture to suit its context.

The scheme has a strong focus on environmental sustainability with 12.5% of energy coming from renewable sources and Code level 4 for Sustainable Homes.  All homes are designed to Lifetime Home standard and provide 10% wheelchair adaptable units.
