Guest House, Grenada
The residential complex is located in the Calivigny Garden, St. George, Grenada with a beautiful view over the Harbor Bay. It offers a unique experience to the tourist for short or long-term periods, in the middle of the Caribbean Region.
The project is adapted to the topography which has a height difference of 15 m. The design emphasizes and celebrates the site and surrounded area. It also hugs green lushes and trees adopting them as part of the house.
The guest house spreads on two stories, offering different experiences with its surrounding environment. The circulation is vertical and fluid around the building in order to keep privacy and to create a beautiful journey in the middle of this “jungle”. The ten ecolodges are oriented towards the sea, furniture items are delicately placed benefiting from natural views and proper daylight. The ground floor expands to the outdoor overflowing swimming pool that is also facing the sea.
