The Nosara Workspace project is a creative space that allows people to connect with the natural environment from which it emerges. A place that grows from the earth to barely float thanks to a light structure of bamboo and wood mixed with heavy walls of rammed earth.
The Lobby is a space that receives and articulates the rest of the open areas and is the in-between of a Collaborative and a Silent workspace. A connector of elements with an orchard path. The Collaborative Space is a place to be, share, create, receive, and give.
The Silent Space is a private place without distractions, a place that allows concentration and internal dialogue.
We wanted to rescue details of the Guanacaste roofs. Large hangovers that provide shade creating fresh and welcoming spaces.
One roof receives water, paying tribute to this element by giving it back to the earth, the other roof expands to the sky for light, allowing the flow of air to refresh the space, and increases the height where nature is rooted and grows.
