This development is the first residential building in the 80HA masterplan for the Greenwich Peninsula, a £5 billion regeneration scheme which will be delivered over the next 15 years.
The development comprises a single residential block which rises to a maximum of 20 storeys and houses a mixture of flats, maisonettes and townhouses on the southern part of the Peninsula overlooking the Thames.
In support of the masterplan’s strong sustainability agenda, the development achieved an ‘Excellent’ EcoHomes rating and incorporates 10% renewable energy provision through a biomass boiler.
Large areas of landscaped green and brown roofing, together with green wall elements, are designed to attenuate rainfall, encourage local wildlife and provide visual amenity for residents. The development also includes an extensive communal courtyard space at second floor level with spectacular views of the Thames.
