Our client saw the potential of adding a mezzanine to his loft apartment in Greenwich Academy, a popular school conversion in a handsome listed building in southeast London.
BEFORE
Given that the local council was resisting major alterations to listed buildings, our client was unsure how to get Planning Permission to build a mezzanine floor to his apartment, and get more from the lofty ceilings and open-plan layout. He was also not quite certain how to create a home that was warm and inviting.
AFTER
Our client secured Planning Permission with Listed Building Consent to build a mezzanine floor. He was delighted with the new mezzanine floor addition as it gave him an additional bedroom he desired and allowed him to remodel his flat.
