Discovering grand potential.
That was the theme for this outdoor living renovation, take something small and make it grand. Space was very limited in this homeowners back yard, with neighbors that were close and an incline on their property we had many obstacles to work around.
That's were the talented contractors and designers at Millican Construction took the homeowners needs and wants and truly created an optimal outdoor living space. An existing fireplace and window was removed where now you see a large sliding door that presents an open view. FSRS installed a motorized retractable screen that covered this large opening. When the doors are completely open the homeowner can close the screen and enjoy the breeze without worry of pests entering the home.
The outdoor patio was constructed along with an outdoor fireplace and sitting area. A pergola was installed over the patio sitting area for additional shading. All of these elements come together to create a functional and comfortable outdoor living space.
