The proposed objects are hybrids between anti-tank obstacles and tents.
They are designed to be a resistant piece of protest architecture with which Greenpeace and the local residents can show their determination to fight against the construction of a third runway at Heathrow airport and the destruction of many homes and houses.
The robust concrete structure provides a simple and yet powerful tool for the activists. It can sufficiently withstand attempts of demolition and satisfies the basic needs of protestors occupying it.
The roof terrace can be used as a platform to speak to other activist outside or to anybody who tries to evict the people inside.
The entrance to the structure is a hallway below the ground level. Just like the access to the roof terrace it can be securely closed off with a steel door.
In addition to the entrance shown on the panels, a second secrete entrance is conceivable. This second entrance could asure a secret supply of the activists occupying the structure.
