A design direction of an apartment on Somei hill. This place is known as the birth of Yoshino cherry tree. In order to take account of the rich history of the Somei hill, materials were chosen carefully. Using earth, stone, wood and steel we left some natural material texture to the building. Alongside with creating a space that has class we scattered lights fixtures that is inspired from the cherry blossom. The lighting and landscape design are collaborated with the experts to further develop the quality. Indirect lighting is employed for the interior and the balcony to evenly spread the soft light. In order to feel the seasonal change through out the year 16 different flowers and trees were used for the landscape.
