Green 360 competition project
Overview
The concept we are purchasing is based on the honor of the
land’s current situation such as topography, temporary planning, natural
landscape, urban landscape, surrounding living quarters.
A mixture of highclass apartments and green plants would be
certainly matched with the project feature: GREEN 360. All the elements
including elevation rhythm, concavo-convex formation, solid-hollow opposition,
garden’s natural color contribute to the simple, modern and attractive
appearance of buildings.
The remaining area (besides constructed area, main
transportation area) is designed to become a new style of landscape. Lawns,
trees, relaxing chairs, pathways are emphasized and the pavements are recommended to be designed following
Mozaic style.
Sustainable Development
Following the trend of developing sustainable architecture,
we would love to create a living quarter where architectural space, green
landscape, living environment and culture is friendly harmonized.
The project proposed to improve the soil base current
condition by covering a layer of heavy soil plus using anti-erosion method.
Then, we would green up the planned site with suitable grass and trees. The
appearance of lawns and trees could make the space more comfortable and
sustainable.
Material and Color
The project recommend that we should use local rock and
gravel concrete for rock dike to prevent eroding.
Main material for the construction is monolithic prestressed
concrete. The building is structured as a continous concrete cubic. Therefore,
firmness, stability, heat and noise reduction will be guaranteed.
Doors and windows should be made of vitrailed panel
(combination of reinforced steel and refractory glass).
Banisters of balconies, garden, swimming pools are made of
transparent structural glass to ensure the aesthetical and safe feature.
Due to the local climate which is dry and not rainy, the
project proposed to coat the buildings with highclass wood (main parts). This
would make the buildings look warm and friendly to nature.
Main color besides material color is WHITE, creating a
luxurious and elegant appearance.
Architecture cube and language
The main cube of each tower is spot-faced from the original
solid bock which were erected upright from the construced land. Sky gardens,
reflecting pool and open balconies would be settled in those spot-faced space.
Brief and simple language is symbolized by horizontal and
vertical lines. The common language of all the buildings begins from the lines,
pieces, bulks and ratio consideration.
Plastic mechanism is expressed solid-hollow opposition,
concavo-convex rhythm in a large range. By this mechanism, the construction
shape would be simple but not monotonous.
