The Public Safety Headquarters consists of Records, EOC and Communications, Police Administration, Fire Administration, a Community/Training room, Criminal Investigations, Patrol, Evidence and Property, and Staff Support. In addition, the detention element can detain up to 214 persons with a master plan for a future expansion to the detention component will provide holding for 48 more detainees in a dormitory pod. There are also two exterior support structures. One of these structures is a conditioned building that will house the sallyport bays. The second support building is divided into two sides, one air conditioned and one non-conditioned. The conditioned side contains tactical team lockers/storage and vehicle bays for the department’s specialty vehicles. The non-conditioned support building houses motorcycle parking, bike patrol storage/work space, and various storage rooms.
