GRAN VIA ACOUSTIC PANELS
The objective of this project is to diminish the unwanted noise from the passing cars towards the houses located in Gran Via.
A long row of acoustic screens prevents the noises of the fast traffic way (lower level) to reach the upper level (destined to slow traffic and pedestrians) and the buildings.
The screens consist of a resistant outer skin that surrounds an acoustic insulation cuore. Their shape is such that reflects the noise.
The inner material also helps with its absorbing qualities. All the set conform a body of 2.5 meters by 7.5 meters in length.
The widths vary between 10 and 50 centimeters.
