Type
The Pop Up Studio is an unfoldable dwelling derived through the examination of conceptual spaces as instruments of architectural progress. The Pop Up Studio is an intentionally whimsical building and expression of radical one-room living architecture.
The curves of the home's frame create unusual interior boundaries. Sharp, geometric forms are used in juxtoposition to the dome exterior. The x-shaped floor plan, set into the Studio's dome, allows for niche areas including a bathroom to the left of the entrance, a sleeping area with bunk, and kitchen. Additional seating and table rise from the floor.
