This project raises questions about the ratio and different types of green programs that would create an ideal city. A study into the behavioral patterns of Coralline Algae revealed a potential of growth intelligence established between the biological system and its immediate environmental constraints. This Utopian proposal attempts to critique the very core of urban design in the way it is practiced today and its inherent functionalities. This very notion of ‘designing’ is problematic and too pre-deterministic as the scale of urban complexity simply far exceeds the capacity of a single set of planning decisions and rules.
