Developed through a collaborative, detail-driven creative process led by architect Frederico Trevisan, the GR House was designed to maximize the site’s dynamic potential through a versatile sequence of spaces. Highly functional and flexible, the residence seamlessly accommodates a spectrum of moments—from quiet, introspective family privacy to lively casual gatherings with guests.

Situated on a sloping terrain, the house is approached via a generous staircase leading to the primary ground level, while a secondary, discreet entry provides access directly from the garage, located half a level above. The main entrance establishes immediate visual depth, directing views straight through to the pool and garden. The kitchen—conceived as the heart and protagonist of the home—opens directly toward these outdoor areas. Designed as a focal point for daily life, its central position and spatial openness foster social interaction, enhanced by the surrounding landscape design.

Capitalizing on the natural topography, a cozy and intimate media room is nestled beneath the garage, offering a comfortable, secluded retreat.

The upper level ensures the residents’ privacy, housing the bedrooms and a home office from which one can enjoy the surrounding views.

Committed to passive sustainability and energy efficiency, the design respects the site’s natural contours, prioritizes cross-ventilation and daylighting, incorporates integrated brise-soleil screening, and features solar power and rainwater harvesting systems.
