In general, when a highway or tunnel is newly established, the commercial district of the old road will collapse, and it is difficult to find a sharp solution. This site was also a so-called popular restaurant before the opening of the Gomnae Tunnel. The solution is simple. You can welcome and treat them to a restaurant. As you climb a quiet Gomnae-gil along a gentle slope, two brightly lit buildings welcome you. As soon as you enter the entrance, the two buildings are arranged as if surrounding the parking lot, so that customers can understand the purpose at a glance. Among them, the restaurant-dong is arranged in the center to divide the land into north and south, and as a key race to overcome the height difference, access to the restaurant from all floors is possible.The first floor of the restaurant building consists of service zones such as kitchen and warehouse, the second and third floors consist of customer zones, and the first floor of the butcher's building consists of a butcher's shop and a warehouse, and the second floor consists of a cafe, separating the space vertically and horizontally. Exposed concrete was used as a interior and exterior material to transform the image into a premium butcher's restaurant that serves customers away from the preconceived notion of being inexpensive and shabby, and the interior was designed with a modern and urban feel. The window open to the north captures the landscape in abundance, and the vitality of the window attracts the attention of Gomnae-gil. The façade, which looks like a tangled band, gives a sense of unity to the two separate buildings and symbolizes the movement that is connected as one. At the end of it is a rooftop that offers a view of the Jeonggwan New Town on the summit of Gomnae-gil and the wooded Hambaksan Mountain. The rooftop expands the space to the outside so that you can enjoy food, coffee, and nature everywhere in the building. Furthermore, as a complex space from the butcher's restaurant, we hope that "Gomnaejae 468" will become a place where you can feel the old lingering effects of Gomnae-gil and receive hospitality and hospitality.
