A community living enclosed in the natural landscape.
The 6 acres site located in Bangalore is designed to create circulation on the site that allows large pedestrian tracts free of vehicular intervention. Open spaces complement the activities/ lobbies on the built edge and form continuity to community usage.
A wide variety of spaces serve to de-centralize activities across the site with a balance of open spaces that serve as foregrounds to all buildings. While green spaces occupy internal courtyards, multiple safe spaces are created for gathering and playing such that the private functions link to the landscape visually and community functions link to the landscape functionally.
The visual density of the built form is greatly reduced and the resulting voids on the façade serve to break the wall effect.
