A new community facility including youth rea, community cafe, function hall, meeting rooms, food co-op and recording studio.The design of the building is influenced by the shape and form of the
industrial buildings that once littered the site. A public external
space is defined by a tower to be built from the famous Glenboig Brick.
This would be a tribute to the industry that helped mould the community
and it is proposed that the building will house a small exhibition of
the industry that made Glenboig name well known throughout the world.
