Retailing has currently become an important segment of the Indian economy. With growing competition, the expertise required to design Retail outlets has acquired a different dimension, not easily available in India. As such, the owners wanting to revamp the existing interior fit-out, decided to seek International Retail Design expertise to advise on branding, merchandising and an appropriate look to reflect the brand’s niche market.
Dalziel + Pow, Interior Designers based in London, renowned for their outstanding contribution to the Retail Design segment, were appointed to advise and design the interior fit-out, among other things, as Principal Designers, with RSA as the local architects. The entire project is executed in phases so as to cause minimum disturbance to the running operations. For RSA, association with Dalziel + Pow on this project has been an enlightening and learning experience, giving us a contemporary perspective of the issues relevant to design strategy for designing and fitment of retail facilities.
