Sited on a large, wooded lot, the existing 1950’s home was remodeled from head to toe to become a modern family home while keeping a connection to its history. The house was opened up to provide a better connection to the beautiful landscape. A 25-foot wide, pocketing sliding door creates an unobstructed opening from the living and dining room to a new covered patio and brick outdoor fireplace. Two new outbuildings were added under mature maple and pine trees to create a separate workshop and a guest house.
