Offering a contemporary reinterpretation of a classic building
material, we intend to design a unique, provocative aesthetic through
the effects of blown glass components. We are aiming at the production of a particular
spatial mood, a three-dimensional wallpaper of light, the possibilities
of playing with visual distortion and varying transparency.  The
investigation has as its ultimate aim the production of a beautiful and
intriguing experience - while we may rely on some knowledge of the
science of light and materials, all rational and systematic methods are
to be employed only in the service of beauty, and intuition may rule
out rigor at any time.
