This flagship store for LA-based Garrett Leight California Optical is a love letter to the car culture of Los Angeles.
The project serves as a seamless billboard capable of promoting the identity of this eyewear brand to the cars rushing by on La Brea Ave. The walls are manipulated in section to encourage customer participation and are clad in a system of pegs that support a variety of display objects. This flexible system allows the store to continually adapt to the seasonal changes of product and media essential to the brand.
