The proposal intend to,
with a clear concept, get the harmony within the near surround and environment,
to change the Pushkinsky façade.
This proposal is resumed
in three concepts: the transparency, the garden and the emphasis of the
exists volume.
To get that, a big glass
box is created as a metaphoric object,
that can change its perception according to an hour of the day, appreciated
from the outside as well as the inside where also they can find an interesting
interior space, a square that can shelter from the cold winter and the hot
summer. An interpretation for an urban
greenhouse.
In the interior of this
Glass Box, an existent building, treated like a Sculpture, emphasizing this modern architecture value. Is tried to
do not change the original lines and the exists concept. The own building becomes
a shadow keeper to an interior square lower the theatre grandstand. The terrace
on the roof receive the shadows from the solar panels located on the top of the
glass box.
The Pushkinsky Theatre is
located in one of Moscow’s “Green Belt” and the project intend to continue this
line, covering the lateral walls (now interior) with a vertical garden. It gets
two intentions: first; the visual continuity, a natural interaction between the
environment, and the second; the interior comfort about the natural filter.
This is one of the natural
resources to get a better use of renewable energy, so, is also proposed a solar
energy use, on the new roof, intending saving and help to supply the demand,
producing less CO2.
