Our Clients came to Studio VARA looking to expand the living space of their 3 story, 6,700 square foot traditional style home in Pacific Heights. The project’s rear addition adds 400 square feet of living space to the Kitchen, Great Room, and Master Suite. Studio VARA carefully designed the rear addition to seamless blend in with the traditional character home, while modernizing exterior features such as the windows, a rear yard deck, and exterior finishes. What started as a rear addition evolved into the complete upgrade of the interior. Studio VARA collaborated with our client to overhaul the interior architecture, providing new, luxurious finishes, fixtures, and furnishings throughout. Special attention was given to the custom cabinetry and area rugs, serving as the backbone for the rest of the interior design. A wide variety of materials, textures, and pattern are curated to create a stimulating interior environment bringing joy to our clients and their family for years to come.
