This project is not a construction type project but based on going GIS(Geographic Information System) project in which we study area of the Following Municipal Corporations of Chhattisgarh.1. Ambikapur2. Bhilai3. Bilaspur4. Chirmiri5. Durg6. Jagdalpur7. Korba8. Raigarh9. Raipur10. RajnandgaonA GIS(Geographic Information System) is a set of computerized tools (including both hardware and software ) for collecting , storing, retrieving, transforming, and displaying spatial data. "GIS" is essentially a marriage between computerized mapping and data base management systems.Anything that can appear on a map can encoded into a computer and then compared to anything on any other map, using longitude-latitude coordinates.OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF WORKThe broad scope of project includes creation of "digital geo-referenced base map" at 1;100 scale World View-2 satellite imagery,showing all key physical features including properties i.e. Plot and BUilding (structure)with unique ID's, location of geo-refrenced survey for property details, integration of attribute data with the spatial data and integration of this data into GIS system at DUAD. The data generated will be used in property tax assessment and building permission.
