A very low budget minimalist house for a local art professor. The concept was to create a blank slate inside for him to display his art.
The exterior shape and materials play on the local vernacular of tobacco barns that are present around middle Tennessee. Typically, these barns are simple gabled structures with metal roofs and vertical wood siding painted black. This house is a modern update of that.
