The Giant's Causeway (Sculpture) is designed as a central square for major public events at Regent's Place. The site wide granite paving module continues throughout the space which is extruded up to different heights to create multiple seating opportunities along the edges of the performance area. The seating modules are the sculptural metaphor to the 'Giant's Causeway' in Northern Ireland. This sculpture contains seemingly infinite variation and areas of intricate enclosure. The design process included innovative uses of generative, algorithmic modeling for formal composition refinements.
