This recently refurbished hotel had been extended and upgraded with enlarged restaurant and kitchen facilities. The new bedrooms and suites were created in grade 2 listed buildings in the Hotel’s town centre location. Detail design and planning work undertaken in conjunction with the clients to create the award winning hotel and restaurant facilities. Conservation works were integral to the proposals and construction of the project, which included a shop unit to the high street. Extensive negotiations and studies wer commissioned to secure planning and listed building consent from Rother DC and English Heritage. The client was strongly in control of the style and interior design.
