The skin. The apartment is meant to be "the" second skin. A coat that protects, gives the chance to express oneself and forces a distinct dialogue. The apartment was released of most memories of the previous owner to give space to the newly entering character. Then all the remaining elements were painted in white. The white colour aims to form the scenery where the story of the inhabitant will be playing...for a while. The objects and fabrics derive from the last journeys of the inhabitant. There are carpets from Curdistan and industrial lamps from depots of Berlin, silver-ware from the grandmother, .... Everything has its own story in connection with the user; fragments were partly restored, modified and personalized.
