Geneva Trading needed to consolidate three offices into one and EAA completed an architectural design that is spread over one full floor and part of another floor. The design creates a cohesive flow of space for the various company departments and features a mix of contemporary finishes in an urban loft-style setting that recalls the architecture common during the early days of trading in Chicago. The office includes two trading floors with space for 100 traders and approximately 1,000 monitors for tracking financial exchanges and approximately 4,000 square feet for the company’s IT functions. The space has open ceilings, warm wood tones, polished concrete floors and a mix of gray and blue décor.
