In response to the demand for parking lots and a marina, the city of Honfleur (Normandy) decided to relocate the main parking to restore the old Marina. A new territory has to be reinvested around an attractive building : a museum. The work focused on two concepts : the slenderness, expressed by of the dock (400 meters long); and the fluidity, evocative of water, air, clouds and sky among others.Conceived as a genesis of the ground, the museum is characterized by a spatial continuity and fluidity. The two notions of fluidity and slenderness gave birth to a single surface, and continues as a genesis of the ground, creating spaces, generated by some incisions.Conceived as an architectural promenade, the exhibition takes place all along the promenade. It is marked by a series of events, creating links between visitors, art and artists. Circular ramps characterized by their spatial fluidity have a variety of exhibition spaces : a central console, large areas devoted to installations, a succession of modular rooms, a large nave to host large-scale works, etc.The facade treatment is thought as dynamic and fluid openings of the building. Indeed, a system of vertical wings, parametrically distributed, work according to the sun on the one hand, and the nature of interior spaces on the other hand.
