2ND FLOOR NEW ORGANIZATION
Reception of the public
The first floor of the building is split into two distinct zones: one for receiving the public, the other reserved for staff. The public area is composed of a number of reception rooms, managed by a computerized reservation system, which allows agents to receive people who are often in great difficulty, in specific and comfortable, homely areas, rather than in their offices. The rear portion of the first floor is reserved for agents, installed in pairs in cubicles without doors. Central circulation groups together color coded cubicles for photocopiers etc, with natural light.
This proposed new double system suggested by the architect, has many advantages: less pressure for staff, free exchange area, spaces assigned to working time with users and the public: a warm and friendly welcome, with reception conditions optimized and better availability of staff .
