Nestled in the heart of the lively and trendy Gazi neighborhood in central Athens, the building stands as a testament to the seamless fusion of modern architecture with the vibrant spirit of its surroundings. Surrounded by a plethora of bars, shops, and coffee shops, and in close proximity to the Benaki Museum and the multipurpose venue of the former Gas Factory, the location is a hub of cultural and artistic activity. Originally a neglected and out of dated office use, the building underwent a complete transformative change of use to an urban hotel of 20 contemporary studio and one-bedroom flats. Externally, the building exhibits dynamic fluid forms that elegantly stack upon one another at every level. The façade, adorned with aluminum cladding, resembles a barcode, creating a distinctive and unique visual identity. The modern and edgy architectural design of the building complements the artistic qualities of the Gazi neighborhood. The structure stands as a contemporary piece of architecture, reflecting the energetic atmosphere of its surroundings.
